The process of connecting the AirPods is simple like connecting any device with your laptop via Bluetooth.

Things to check before connecting your AirPods with HP laptop

Before jumping to the process of connecting the AirPods there are following two things you should check:

  • Check your air pod charging if the charging is low then first charge them up
  • Check if your laptop Bluetooth driver is updated and is working properly

To connect the AirPods first enable or turn on your laptop Bluetooth and there are two ways for it one you can turn it on by opening the notification menu from the taskbar or by clicking Windows A key simultaneously and click on the Bluetooth as in the image below:

Second method for turning the Bluetooth by going into the devices menu in the Windows setting which you can open by clicking on Window I key simultaneously as in the image below:

Once you have turned on the laptop’s Bluetooth now turn on your AirPods by long pressing its button on it back:

You will see flashing white light.

As the AirPods turn on the white light comes on so now let’s connect it with the laptop by clicking on the “Add Bluetooth or other device” in the devices menu of Windows settings as in the image below:

Once you have clicked on that plus icon a pop will open that which type of device you need to connect so click on Bluetooth as in the image below:

Click on the Bluetooth and your laptop will start searching for the nearest Bluetooth active devices as in the image below:

Once your laptop finds your AirPods click on connect and once it is connected press the Done button:

Once the AirPods are connected you will see a green light on it:

Next to connect your audio to the AirPods click in the speaker settings on the right side of the taskbar from there select the AirPods as an audio device.
