Microsoft Wants You To Make Your Own AI Songs, Here’s How news

Yep, you heard that right. Microsoft has partnered with ‘Suno’, an AI-based music tehnology company, for its AI-companion Copilot, that will allow users to create their own AI-based, personalized songs, irrespective of their musical background. All they need to do is to give “a simple prompt” to make up their own songs, said Microsoft in a blog post.

Microsoft has started rolling out the new AI-based music feature to users starting today, and it will reach more users in the coming weeks, the Redmond-based tech giant has said.

Make Your AI song with a Single Sentence

As per Microsoft, Suno is a leader when it comes to AI music technology and a pioneer in generating “complete songs—lyrics, instrumentals, and singing voices—from a single sentence.”

No Musical Background Needed

Many of you may be thinking: But I never learned to play an instrument, never went for music or singing classes, I am a bathroom singer at best, and other underwhelming things like that. No worries, says Microsoft. You just have to send in the prompt. Microsoft Copilot and Suno will handle the rest.

How To Create Your Own AI Music/Song Using Microsoft Copilot

To make your own AI music/song through Microsoft Copilot, follow these steps:

  • Open the Microsoft Edge browser and type in the address copilot.microsoft.com. You’ll also need to sign in to your Microsoft account to be able to use this service (personalized music, you see).
