Paper Ventures Launches With $25M Fund to Support Emerging Tech Startups news

New investment firm Paper Ventures has launched with a $25 million fund to support early stage Web3 and blockchain startups.

The company was founded in 2023 in London, UK, by Danish Chaudhry, Oliver Blakey and Ivailo Jordanov, who together bring a “vast experience” in Web3 venture capital investment. They have worked in this industry since 2010 and have provided early funding for projects including Frax Finance, SEI, Polygon, Injective, Polkadot, Moonbeam and Cosmos.

With its first fund, Paper Ventures’ founders aim to identify and support “outstanding” startups in the target space and provide them with the resources and connections needed to grow.

The $25 million fund was raised from traditional hedge funds, family offices, exchanges, founders and high-net-worth individuals associated with crypto.

Commenting on the launch, co-founder Oliver Blakely said: “Our mission at Paper Ventures is to be at the very forefront of innovation, fostering groundbreaking ideas that redefine the boundaries of technology and finance.

“We believe in the transformative power of blockchain and are committed to supporting those who are as passionate about its potential as we are.”
