RunwayML Generates Original Videos From Simple Text

AI startup RunwayML announced a Gen-2 multi-modal AI system to generate original videos from simple text, images, or video clips.

AI platforms generating Text-to-image is standard now, but AIs are frontier in developing videos from the text.

AI Company Runway has launched Gen-2, which creates original videos through text inputs, images, or video clips.

In its Gen-1 version, users could apply an AI-generated overlay on already-existing video footage and enter a basic 3D animation or shaky smartphone clip.

Its Gen-2 seems more focused on generating videos from scratch. It is a web-based video generation tool that offers 30 AI tools for real-time video editing, collaboration, and more.

Runway is doing exciting work in generative AI, including the still-unexplored territory of text-to-video. The findings are exciting, and the potential of text-to-video AI is appealing, bringing fresh chances for creativity.

Providing user-friendly interfaces and ready-to-deploy templates enables individuals to utilize the power of artificial intelligence and bridges the gap between creators and machine learning technologies.

Notably, its growing community ensures ongoing development and support, making it a valuable resource for those seeking to elevate their creative work, including artists, designers, developers, and many more. If you want to try this tool, you can log in at Runway.

Other tech tycoons, Meta and Google, are also in the race for text-to-video AI.

Moreover, Microsoft has emphasized fluent design language for UI enhancements. All of these adjustments improve the functionality of the Team by lowering the amount of memory used, the amount of disc space used, and many other factors.

Alongside the performance improvements, Microsoft has also given Teams a visual refresh to better match Windows 11.

Below are some of the top features of the new Microsoft Teams:

  • Files tab in channels and conversations, as well as the ability to download, upload, and examine files.
  • Meetings, with support for numerous work accounts and tenants, unique backgrounds, and PowerPoint Live meetings.
  • Applications, including those from Microsoft 365 and 1st party developers, such as Microsoft Viva and Approvals and Tasks.

In addition to all these features, there are 50-plus additional new features coming to Teams. To learn more about this, visit Microsoft Tech Community.
